Keep out of Reach! Common Household Hazards
Though there are more than whats on this list to have your dog avoid, these items are what we most commonly saw pets at the Vet Hospital for either ingesting, choking on, or causing an intestinal obstruction. Although we cannot always keep our pets from getting into everything, it is good to have the knowledge of what to keep away from your dog, or to train your dog to leave alone.
Foods that are Toxic to Dogs
Below is a list of foods to avoid feeding your dog. Each item varies in toxicity and some are fine to feed in small quantities such as cheese and peanut butter, whereas there are foods you do not want to feed at all, like chocolate or grapes. but being aware of what foods are toxic to your dog will help your dog to stay happy and healthy and steer clear of health issues such as kidney failure, which can be a side effect of eating the wrong foods over a period of time.
