Where the "N" & "K" come from
Nathan grew up raising various animals. He always connected well with nature and has a great devotion to husbandry for both plants and animals.
Early on, he had started schooling to become an EMT but quickly realized he wanted to be involved in the animal world. He decided to combine his medical aspirations with his dream of working with horses, and started his schooling and career as a veterinary technician in 2014, and worked at an equine veterinary clinic until 2019. He now co-owns a construction company, but never strays too far from working around plants and animals of all kinds. |
Kaylani's life passion is the care, cultivation and research of plants and animals.
She was a member of FFA in high-school and was involved in the horse and cow judging club. She also loved taking classes in Animal Science and learning anything she could about animals and farm life. She completed her schooling and externship as a veterinary technician in 2014, and worked at a small animal veterinary hospital for 2 years. Now as a full-time stay at home Mom, Kaylani is pursuing a degree in nutrition and horticulture. |
NK Ranch Aussies
We've grown a deep love for Australian Shepherds and the wonderful qualities they posses.
We love being active members of our local Dog Obedience Club and being involved in AKC/ASCA Conformation Shows, Agility Shows, and Training with our dogs. Most of all, we enjoy going on outdoor adventures, and having fun with our family and dogs at home and community. At NK Ranch, we are proud supporters and team members of
Operation Underground Railroad. This amazing organization exists to rescue children from sex trafficking. Check out the "NK Ranch & OUR Rescue" page of our website for more info. |
